Sampa Das Ostrem, CIH, LIH

-Principal in Charge

Ms. Ostrem is the principal in charge, and founder of D.A.S. Consulting Services, LLC. She has over 18 years of experience in health and safety, environmental, and industrial hygiene and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Licensed Industrial Hygienist (LIH). She obtained a master's degree in occupational hygiene and occupational safety and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from West Virginia University.

Her experience includes indoor air quality evaluations, microbiological assessments and remediation, lead-based paint and asbestos services, health and safety training, healthcare facility evaluations, industrial hygiene monitoring and OSHA program development. She has gained work experience through a fellowship with Oak Ridge Associated Universities at the United States Department of Energy (U.S. DOE) and a research assistantship at West Virginia University under a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) grant.

Prior to founding D.A.S. Consulting Services, LLC, Ms. Ostrem previously worked at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency in addition to other consulting firms.
